Jungle

This one’s about my cat.
Melody/vocals aren’t too strong … and the entire thing is probably a bad direct rip off of a Halloween Alaska song, but most of you won’t know who they are, so never mind.
Christmas Ain’t Over
December 16, 2010
I wrote a song last week for the songwriting blog Food for the Beloved’s annual Christmas CD, “A Beloved Christmas 2010.” It’s called Christmas Ain’t Over and it’s about good hope and charity and all that good stuff.
Check out the entire CD for other great songs. I also worked with my brother, Jonathan, and his girlfriend, Cara, on the opening track Go Tell it On The Mountain, and the Ft. Wonder track White Christmas.
This War Will Never Start
April 22, 2010
Stayed up late last night with my recently acquired old and dirty Danelectro. Influences on this one should be pretty obvious, but I still had fun making it.
Oh, and this song is about two outlaws in a draw … I think.
UPDATE – now featured in the credits to Rock Band 3!
Campy Rules

Here’s a new one. Feels a little unfinished, but here it is as it stands. And yes, pardon my vocal performance.
Serious Face
January 19, 2010
Okay, so I’ve started a music blog. Since I don’t really apply myself musically in do-or-die situations very often, I decided I’d cough up whatever comes to me and post it here. This music isn’t for any purpose, band, or album, although maybe one day they will resurface somewhere. Unfortunately, I will probably be unoriginal and sloppy, but I don’t think that’ll be the point, I guess. Criticisms and suggestions are happily welcome.
Here’s my first song, “Serious Face.”
